I have been to every effin' store there is with my chauffeur, Valerie, looking for glass or plastic animals. Contrary to what Ms. D insists, there are none at Wal-Mart (in St. Cloud or on John Young) or at the Dollar Tree (In St. Cloud or by Deerfield), unless she's referring to obviously ceramic animals, stuffed animals, chocolate animals, solid ugly plastic/rubber/whatever-the-heck-that-stuff-is animals, disgusting glow-in-the-dark bugs, or ridiculous animals (like frogs with big red lips wearing crowns or smiling Teddy bears with huge hair bows). The same goes for Hallmark; and any kind of glass specialty store is way too pricey for our drama department's budget to handle (the candelabra cleaned out most of what was left of my props budget today). Yes, I've been to Target, I've gotten all there is out of Walgreens (horses that look like unicorns and a swan), I've been in two different Michael's stores. I also didn't see anything in the Goodwill.
So. If you or anyone you know has any kind of small, transparent (hand-held size) plastic, glass, or crystal animals, or knows- for sure- where I can definitely find some, please talk to me before school lets out on Thursday.
I really, really need those animals. You know what, scratch that. The PRODUCTION really, really needs those animals. I promise they will be returned, unharmed, in the condition you gave them to me in. You would be saving my life and my eardrums from the explosion that will ensue if I tell Ms. D I have no idea where the hell-o I can find these animals.
Ok?
Ok.
Thanks, guys.
