(no subject)
I was totally pebbled today. It was really weird because I don't really know how it happened. Though, I think it had something to do with the fact that all I had for dinner was Pop-tarts. At about 8 I went over the A. Richards hall (where Julie, Amanda, Sherrie, Laurel, Tayler, and Caroline live). I have been taking a survey which was inspired by my class (let if know if you'll participate; it's simple, painless, and only takes a minute) so I asked them if they would take it. Then, I went nuts. It was weird because it slipped into it very gradually and didn't stop for about 2 1/2 hours. Throughout the night I was singing at the top of my lungs in full falsetto, I named a kitchen utensil Fred and made him make out with two bananas (one was Jacklyn, the other was Suzanne. Suzanne was dating the third banana, Christopher, and he didn't like Fred making out with his girlfriend. We made cupcakes which just made me more crazy. At some point Sherrie came in and told me that if we weren't at BYU she would have thought I was drunk. I put on a bunch of Tayler's jewelry, necklaces, bracelets, earrings and such, and Julie and Sherrie took pictures. I made everyone else in the apartment take my survey as I continued to be very loopy. (I may have to throw out those results if I messed them up or something. >_<) At 10 we left to go tunnel singing and picked up a bunch of people on the way. (These people have my really, really cool knife and I keep forgetting to bring it home. But, for some reason Sherrie and Amanda wouldn't let me take it at that time. I can't imagine why.) Finally, we got to the tunnel and sang hymns and such. My roommate announced his Mission call to Jamaica. (I still tell him that it's a vacation and not a mission.) We came back and I did my laundry and am now typing this. Overall I would give this night a 9.8/10. I can't really think how it could have been much better, but considering my circumstances I'll take it.
Also, I finished our group video last Sunday. I am sooo sick of it. I'm sure it turned out all right, but after doing 7 hours of filing and 15 hours of editing I am done with it for a very, very long time. I still kind of want to do my own video. It is a rendition of Raffi's Banana phone. I think it would be hilarious.
In other news, I have my old job back at U of M for the summer. But, now I'll be able to get in about 3 1/2-4 months of work which translates to $6,000-$7,000 for the summer. w00t1.
In other, other news, I love teaching chemistry like no other. I'm uber excited to do so professionally. I would also be happy teaching pedagogy. Money is overrated. Happiness is where it's at.
I think for the first time in my life I wish I could fast forward four or five years.
I love the Lord.
