OK, not really, but whatever. My weekend went pretty well, first of all, was Josh's Eagle Court of Honor. All of Friday was spent getting ready for his ceremony/party thing, and it was a lot of work. I've decided that I'm not going to be so unorganized about mine and I'll probably not have one as big as his. It was a lot of work that I didn't really want to put into it, but someone had to do it. Anyway, Friday evening was enjoyable, I mean first of all I was the color guard captain (again). So I got to bark orders at a bunch of other people as loud and dramatic as I wanted, so that was a lot of fun. Then, instead of having to sit with my family or a bunch of relatively boring and annoying people, I got to sit next to Carol, and we mocked the speakers under our breaths and made silly witty comments about how boy are like peas, and such. After the ceremony was *insert drum roll* the food! Yay, eating all the food that I work so hard to prepare, and to entertain the public (and to express my dorkiness) I put up some Chemistry questions and offered to give a prize to the first person who got all three correct. Of course they weren't very hard (H2+O2=? and Li+F2=? and such) so it didn't take very long before I had to give up my stash of helium filled balloons. Eventually the time came for the evening to end. So Joshua decided ditch us and go hang out with his friends and leave all the cleaning up for other people. Now that was nice of him, wasn't it? Finally, I was able to spend the night at a friends house (Taffin's) and we stayed up 'til 6:30 in the morning because I was afraid that I might sleep in late the next morning. Which of course I did not want to do seeing that I was going canoeing with Liz, Thomas, Dominique, and Todd (Liz and Thomas' Uncle). The trip of course was soooooooo much fun, but by the end, I was soooooo tired. When I got to my place of residence (where in nobody was home), I slept for twelve hours and woke up just in time to get to church. Monday, I went with a bunch of people to Rolling Hills water park and we stayed there for seven hours. By the time that we decided to leave, I was truly a Red Herring, and boy does it hurt. but now it looks sort of like a tan, so I'm happy. Now I'm going to work on writing my report for my Eagle Project. Toodles.
