It might not be as long as I thought it would be. My finger doesnt hurt as much if I bandage it right....so we'll see how that goes. Just wanted to let people know since I've kinda been dead the past two nights.
I do have two questions for the f-list.
1) Is a Wii worth buying?
2) Do you have any summer reading suggestions? Books people, I need 'em!!

I read 'The Historian' by Elizabeth Kostova over Christmas break. It's a very intricate story about vampires/Vlad Tepes/Count Dracula and it hopscotches all over Europe. Very suspenseful, full of rich description, and pretty scary. Lots of great plot twists. It is very long though.
If you're in for classics, aka old, I really loved 'The Woman in White' by Wilkie Collins (contemporary of C. Dickens). The book shifts narrators several times, so you get very different perspectives. It's another mystery with lots of fun characters.
If you like Harry Potter, I really really really push people to read the 'His Dark Materials' trilogy by Philip Pullman. They're making the first book 'The Golden Compass' (Northern Lights in the UK) into a movie that's out in December, so I'm trying to get people to read it. It's so great. Alternate universe and the main character, Lyra...in her world, your soul is manifested in an animal called a 'daemon' that follows you everywhere. Because it's your soul, duh. Hehe. It's hard to follow at first, but by the end you're wishing you had a daemon too. One could fanwank that if Balthier had a daemon, it would be Fran (after all, she's a bunny. Hehe)
So I could be completely off base in my suggestions, but lately I've read a lot of travel books so it's been a while since I sat down and read fiction. Other than fanfiction (another reason I haven't read actual books!!!)
