oh man, this rather brought back some memories of my first child. :) not quite the same conversation but almost. wonderful take on the prompt.

(and i hope you don't mind, but i've friended you. i know you don't post often, but i don't want to miss anything you do post, and i might not check the 15minuteficlet comm enough.)

Just popped in from 15minutefics, and I wanted to say this was quite lovely. Very evocative and full of character for such a short piece.
