Still been pretty busy lately (what else is new?), but I'm going to put aside a few hours and update with everything that's been going on since the last update, rather than put it off and have more giant 20 page updates... This will involve Limbus/Omega fights, more Vrtra/Tiamat kills, having too much damn fun on WAR, getting ready to pop the Jailer of Love in sea, and the other random stuff.

Cleared nearly all of the Limbus areas available, and pretty easily I might add... And now looking into fighting Omega and Ultima.
First thing is first, we learned a lesson a few weeks ago that is worth sharing... Well, you know that Aw'euvhi NM that you have to kill for the card to enter Limbus, right? Now, you might be tempted to go out early and pull the NM while waiting for the alliance to gather to save time or just while bored, and then since it's so easy to kill and hold, just try to sleep/tank/kite/hold it until everyone who would need the card is there. And once everyone is there, just kill it quick and be on your way. It seems harmless, right?
Or so we thought... It broke out of the last time we were able to sleep it with this:
So yeah, lesson learned... Don't pull the NM until you're ready to kill it. We had to zone it, lol...
ANYWAY... A bunch of other Limbus screens of mobs from different areas. :p
I've been going as WAR for most of the runs unless asked otherwise... Usually the two tanks that come are more than enough, and the damage from WAR helps things go faster rather than having another tank. Plus, Blade:Ten/Asuran Fists > Steel Cyclone and 3-4 BLMs on a MB owns just about everything there save a few of them.
We also killed Omega last Limbus, it went pretty well... Overall it's not a very hard fight. He's just like the Omega for the airship BC as far as TP attacks go, only main difference is while standing on 4 legs he has a high resistance to physical damage (not fully resistant) and takes normal damage from magic, while when he's standing up on 2 legs he has a high resistance to magic damage and takes normal damage from phyiscal damage. It got a little rough in the last 10%, but still pulled out with a win.
/poke
In phyiscal damage resist mode:
In magic damage resist mode:
Close to the end..
Mijin Gakure kill ftw. :)
Pretty nice drops... Congrats to Sirou and Danerys on the items!

After a long break we went back to sea again recently.. Killed Justice and Prudence.
I really like sea, as much of a pain in the ass it can be.. And SE having to make deeds drop so rarely, etc... But overall I like the new and different setting, and being able to do some things before anyone else on the server does. :D
But we're not doing it too much, since it leaves a pretty good amount of the LS out of LS events since everyone doesn't have sea yet...;;
One of the first things we did when we went back is go for a few cape NMs.
The DRG Ix'Aern... Can be a pain, especially with small numbers. It constantly summons and resummons wyverns up to I think 4 or 5, and while they have low HP they still hit pretty hard and can get annoying... They don't like to sleep either. It was worth it in the end though. :)
The MNK Ix'Aern was pretty nice to us too.
Followed by some really high lots... Shin won, and congrats again on the cape! :)
Killed Prudence too on this second round... The first time we killed it they suddenly warped on us, and at this time there was absolutely no information available on this NM and how it worked... So after waiting around for a while and finding nothing in the entire area, we slowly left, only to find it come strolling along back to the ??? with only two BLMs left. Needless to say, we couldn't gather in time and lost it.
On this attempt we knew exactly what to expect, and this time killed it without much difficulty. :)
And the death!
Also got some revenge on Justice.. Just like for Prudence the first time we popped him a few months ago we had no idea what to expect and there was little to no information available about it. Unprepared, we ended up wiping when it started summoning up to I think 8 smaller pets that would Mijin Gakure on us for 300-800 damage each, depending. This time though we knew what to expect, and completely blew the NM away in under 3 minutes (I used berserk/aggressor before we popped it, and it wore right after death) with no trouble at all. :)
No deed though, so as of right now we're one deed short of being able to pop Jailer of Love... A few strategies have already been discussed, so we're looking to go for a serious attempt once we get the deed to drop from the Jailer of Justice.
But, on a bright side, this torque is really awesome.. Gave me a new high in +STR :o
+5 STR in the neck slot for any job is great... Considering I hope to level SAM next and possibly DRK sometime after makes this torque even better too. :D
I'm pretty certain I won't be using it for WS above a Soil Gorget for Rampage though... But I'm considering a test between the damage with the +5 STR versus the damage with a Breeze Gorget for Steel Cyclone, since I don't need the accuracy bonus for a SA weapon skill. If requested I'll post any results I find out, otherwise it will mostly just be for myself.

Vrtra kill number 6, Tiamat kill number 54.
Killed Tiamat again for the 54th time, giving us our 19th pair of gaiters and countless kotes.
We ended up engaging with only 10 people ready while rushing to claim before other competition apparently (I arrived there about 5 minutes after claim having just logged online). Still killing him though, the line for people that have requested Gaiters (whether BLM, WHM, or SMN) still has at least 5 other people in it, and there are about 3-4 more people that would like to have the kotes.. So we're still killing him whenever we have the chance to for those linkshell members.
One day, I want to try and see how much I can Steel Cyclone him for... And maybe with a BRD too >:D.. But usually I'm the NIN tank now until we have enough to spare. I don't really mind it, it's pretty fun most of the time and getting relatively easy, only dislike is each Tiamat kill costs me about 150-250k in food/ninjutsu/RR><.. Usually it doesn't bother me much, kind of used to losing a lot of money at LS events since I always used silver bullets on RNG and then going to NIN I used all the ninjutsu and best food, with WAR being the only slight exception (but still food/RR/sleeping potions sometimes).. But at the moment I'm $1 mil in debt from borrowing money to buy an item while it was on AH since it rarely ever was;;, so it's difficult to keep up with limited time to farm.
Also killed Vrtra few days ago for most likely the final time for a really long time... Other than something like bragging rights or maybe money, there's really no need for us to kill him anymore unlike Tiamat. Most of the BRDs that wanted Shah'ir all have it now or will soon, so I think we're stopping for a while since it's usually a lot more trouble than the other Wyrms. But I have a lot of fun there, wouldn't mind killing him more in the future. :)
Got some much better screen shots than the last times we fought him though..
I thought this ended up being a pretty funny screen shot... I suppose you could call this Leviathan's point of view?
I also was charmed a few times, and I'm sure you know what that leads to..; ;
Toraedor's Cape... Almost all attacks on me criticalled.><
I'll get you back ice you bastard. -.-

I'm officially addicted to Steel Cyclone...
I was asked my last livejournal update and on a forum to give my Steel Cyclone gear as well as more results and some stuff about it, so here it is... This is my current WS gear for Steel Cyclone:
Although in the future I'm planning to experiment with this set:
Again, if asked I'll post results if I get across to testing it out... Also, curious what other WARs out there use for Steel Cyclone? I never really had a chance to compaire it to other WARs, just sort of came up with this set based on my own observations.
Lastly here's a bunch of the latest damage I've done with it since the last update. :o
Pretty damn good for a beetle... 2007
Even better on a tiger, 2171..
Highest one yet on a Goblin.. 2349
Looove when darkness doesn't resist. :D
This was on the Tauras for the Brothers ENM, it has pretty high defense.. Was shocked it did so much. :o
Too bad the drops sucked though. D:
The highest of five 2k+ Steel Cyclones in the last Dynamis-Windurst run.
The last DL attempt we had..
On the boss of Dynamis-Bastok, really high defense mob.. Surprised it hit for so much.. And it dropped the first 100 byne bill I've seen from a boss mob over the last 1.5 years of Dynamis.
Only thing I love more about SCs when Darkness isn't resisted.. Is when it does even more than the WS damage...
For fun while waiting at the Jailer of Prudence. >:D
Tenzen too weak... 30 second battle, instant 5k damage at the start.
And that's all of them for now. :o

The other stuff.
Highest I've seen. -.-
Also the highest I've seen without Divine Seal... /cheer Sylphet
Wierd PT glitch... It shows Allexi in my PT, but yet he's seeking and says he isn't in the PT.. Spud also sees him in the PT. I'm also unable to kick him or reinvite. o.o
Our LS is seriously like 0-10 on this NM now... And we've had TH2 to TH4 for 8 of those 10 that I know of. On the bright side, we killed the last VV in under 60 seconds... Completely owned it.
Defense gear versus Nidhogg... After a Hurricane Wing that left my timers a little behind, I switched to defense gear quickly to avoid taking a lot of damage... Only two times I got hit the entire fight, and it was really low, proud of it. Especially since I see it hitting other NINs from different linkshells for upwards of 400 to 600 almost every time. :D
Also, can finally say I have every OP in the game! :)
Sarutabaruta:
And Gustaberg:
That's all for now...
EDIT: Oh, and figure I at least owe them some credit. Just broke 800 screen shots uploaded for imageshack, and haven't really had any problems at all over all this time. So, I'd recommend www.imageshack.us for uploading images over anything else I've used. :)
