Does it really stack?...

I might be wrong about the weapons from sea...

I was with a friend farming organs an hour ago in sea for our second gorgets, and I decided to switch from Gawaine's and play around with the Fortitude Axe for a few rounds. The following three Steel Cyclones after equiping it all had a double attack go off in them. I continued to play around with it ( Read more... )

Whenever double attack goes off in my weapon skill, particularily in Steel Cyclone, the damage is always higher but it is never anything too amazing. Of course all of my highest numbers have been the times when Double Attack fires, but it seems to me that it only adds roughly 200 or so damage to it (probably just the dmg of a regular hit, unless of course it happens to be a critical), nothing too insane. And thus I don't really think having it go off twice would be THAT overpowered, because it's not something that will happen on a regular basis. I think it's safe to say that if Double Attack from the weapon stacks with JA double attack, it probably stack with the WS as well. Honestly though, I'm still quite surprised this is the case, and wouldn't be surprised if they changed it. Which reminds me, remember that time they (mistakenly?) changed something in an update so Double Attack of any sort didn't stack with Weapon Skill? That was a sad time for Warrior
:(. Soooo glad it's back!

Edit: Thinking about this further, imagine 300% steel cyclone, Double attack that's a critical from the weapon, and another critical hit double attack from JA. In theory this could happen right? That would be one insane number...and you'd probably be lucky to see it once in your lifetime XD

Usually if double attack kicks in for a WS it's most noticeable with higher TP. At 100% TP the difference between a double attack WS and no double attack is pretty small, but still noticeable... At 300% TP though you can really tell the difference, because the bonus that you get on the first hit when you're at 300% TP applies to the double attack hit as well.

Still testing it, no definate results yet.
