Lol I don't think we have, either? I think maybe we friended each other through the Oofuri friending meme but we share some other common interests (Reborn, DRRR), so idek. All I know is that I've been reading your DRRR posts with interest but not commenting because... well, because all I know is the anime so I can't speak intelligently about the light novel stuff. BUT I ENJOY YOUR POSTS MUCHLY SO THERE'S THAT?!
Re: David Eddings. For the longest time I considered him a "guilty pleasure" fave because after a while he kind of became a parody of himself, especially in the Sparhawk series where it was all like the Belgariad except with knights and the church. BUT THEN I REALIZED HELL, WHO CARES IF HE DOES THE SAME GENERAL PLOTS OVER AND OVER AGAIN, IT'S STILL ALWAYS AWESOME. So I love him unironically now and enjoy his books for exactly what they are: fun non-serious snarky fantasy. And I will always have a minor crush on Silk.
I've been wanting to find a way to kind of say hi to you for a while now, and David Eddings is kind of the perfect opening since I love him so much. <333 I always wanted to meet him and thank him for writing books that meant so much to me ever since I was a tiny Herongale in middle school, and it's a little sad to me to know that now I never will. ;__;
