MMmm... prostate..

so, you have a couple different options, you can opt for the suzuki gel seat. which is a little better. (not much, imho) and pretty cheep. Or, if you feel like throwing some bucks at it, you can look into...

http://www.corbin.com/suzuki/sv650.shtml

corbin is a neat company, this is the seat i have. if your feelig inspired, you can take your bike down to california and they will shape the seat to your rear. From having this seat, i can say that it is signifigantly firmer than the stock seat, but shaped much better, and much more comfortable over the long distance. the best i can liken it to, remember the plastic posture chairs you used to sit in school. Its kinda like that, they look hard and uncomfortable, but the contours work in such a way you can sit in them for a long time. - i would not discribe it as plush, however.

the other big seat maker you have is sargent

i couldent find the direct manifactures site for this seat. I know one person that has this seat, though ive never sat on it myself.

good luck.

Thanks for the info! I wish I could sit on both seats to try them for myself. Checking out a few forums, it seems opinions are roughly split between the two companies with maybe a few more leaning towards Sargent.

I found Sargent's website
