The hype about Orientation
Yeah, you guessed it. It's that time of the year again, when you scream and cheer your lungs out, play games like there's no tomorrow, and transit INSTANTLY from your depressed "I-don't-want-to-leave-high-school" depresion to "OMG-College-ROCKS" euphoria! If you think I'm talking about you, YES, it's you! Indeed, I see that many of my juniors have apparently become "turbocharged" for the new year of college life in Orientation, and I can only say the fun is escalating everyday! Just a sample of what's everyone from the new J1 cohort has been saying:
"My OG rocks!"
"My OGL is so cool!"
"College life is actually kind of fun!"
"I LOVE MY OG!"
"I hope my OG was my class!"
"I didn't know college life could be so cool!"
Just to mention a few of the classic lines that you will hear or would already have heard within these next few days. Seriously, Orientation is one of the most fun periods of your college life! The key thing is to play, play and play even more! Hopefully you don't break your leg, crack your skull or break your spine in the process! :)
Let it all out, burst your lungs with the adrenaline rush derived from screaming it all out! Be really enthusiastic and learn your mass dances and college songs really well! I'm feeling the Hwa Chong spirit all over again! Get bouncy, get jumpy, get all high and tell the whole world "Hwa Chong rocks!" Woo hoo!
