T minus 2 Days
Hey all. Sorry I've been absent lately - I've been busy getting everything ready for the trip. Only one more day of work and then we fly out to Vancouver on Thursday!
Firstly, to the SHHQ crew, your new tattoos are aweome ^_^ I'm glad you all had a great time this past weekend!
And we have a new LJer -
2ndstar2thright, welcome! (finally!) If you need help with the CSS, let me know (If you know HTML, you shouldn't have trouble figuring it out).
So Zip.ca sent me four movies, which means I will have a total of five in my posession, when I should only have four total *shrugs* I'm not going to complain =D But because most of them arrived yesterday, I won't have time to watch any of them until I get back next month =( What I've got:
Dead Creatures (those responsible for this - you know who you are)
Flags of Our Fathers
Cypher (ILU DH!)
Everything is Illuminated (couldn't remember why I got this one, but it has Elijah Wood in it, so it's all good)
And I still have a Traders disc from, like, five months ago that I haven't watched yet.
Tomorrow night is the Birthday Outing. Edward and I are going to see 300, and possibly out for dinner, too. Maybe a pizza place? Like, traditional, real Italian-style pizza would be aweome *goes to look up yellowpages.ca* I fly out on my actual birthday, so everything has to happen the night before, therefore tonight (Tuesday) will consist of running around frantically trying to get everything ready and packed.
I have managed, however, to cleverly realize that I can use my computer at work to download things for my iPod, thus giving me twice the downloading power (my own computer is horrendously slow for dl-ing). ANYWAY, I've managed to acquire seasons 7-9 of Top Gear, which I absolutely have fallen in love with *squishes Richard*
Black Donnellys last night was good, if slow. No shootings or killings or what have you. But I am so betting on Tommy getting with Whatshername - the widow he's helping out. Now wouldn't that be messed up (as if everything isn't screwed up enough already).
Ah, and before I forget: Anne, if you and Liz are still up for getting together next month, email me (curious_hobbit [at] hotmail.com), 'cause I'll be checking my email while I'm away. I guess it will have to be either the 23rd or 24th (or later on the 22nd), since I'll be at another convention *puts dork hat on* the 20th to the afternoon of the 22nd. But I have the jeep so meeting up with you guys someplace isn't an issue.
