I guess this is the traditional I'm-leaving-tomorrow-on-a-long-drive-in-sketchy-weather post. Hopefully everything goes well. So much packing to do yet, though.
Update: Here's the thing about South Dakota: it usually sucks. A lot. It's big and cold. I woke up at 6:00 to finish packing. I woke up to -10 degrees (warmer than it was last night, apparently) and a frozen car -- so frozen that when I turned on the windshield wipers, one of them snapped in half. And when I opened the lid to my gas tank, it broke apart. When shit like this happens, it's too cold for civilization to survive. But I made it back home, where I'm trying to enjoy what I can of the heatwave-like 20 degree weather and am panicking about what happens now in life.
