Day by day, everything falls a little more into place. Life is good.
My cousin, Eslyn, and her mom, Aunt Colleen came into town Thursday. It's been 8 years since I've seen them. When my Uncle left my Aunt Colleen 10 years ago, he disappeared off the face of the planet and no one has seen him since. Sunday night -- the Crandall's were back together. My Uncle came to dinner unexpectedly, everyone got along fabulously and I have never laughed so hard and for so long in YEARS. I can't believe our family is finally gluing itself back together.
Matt and I are finally starting to act like a real family. We don't get into stupid arguments over stupid shit anymore. We work together like pro's when it comes to housework and Madison. We both work our asses off daily, and are truly appreciated for what we do. Everything is "we" or "us" now, instead of "me" or "him" or "she". I've been reminded all over again why I fell in love with him in the first place. <3
Madison army crawled for the first time yesterday! I couldn't believe it. I hate that Matt missed it. She was zooming across the living room like she had been doing it for ages! I laid down on the floor with her, and put my glasses down on the floor a little above Madison's head. She locked her eyes on my glasses, flipped over and crawled straight to them! I kept moving them a little further, she'd giggle and crawl to them. It was the coolest thing I've ever seen in my life. She has the coolest personality ever, she is so friendly, so full of energy and can light up a room in a heartbeat. I don't know what I did to be so blessed, but I love my life and my daughter so freaking much!!
I have turned into a bit of a hermit house-wifey... and for some reason... I'm okay with that.
