Very tired. So little time for fic reading. But I did watch Inception again. I think my impression of it improved with a second watching. Cobb's relationship didn't seem so important the second time. Instead, I was watching out for his guilt and self-torture and its destructive nature. What we saw of Mal was never really her; they were just Cobb's memories and impressions of her but never the real thing. Like Cobb said later in the movie that the shade was not her, just an imperfect projection of her that would never be able to rival the complexity of the real thing. Even the flashbacks cannot be taken as such because they were such brief glimpses into a Mal who has been turned insane and the scenes really were there to explain what happened and to give more emphasis for Cobb's guilt.
The falling scene with the free fall no longer felt stretched out because it was not seen as a continuation of an action scene but where all their plans were coming together as a heist and the gears fitting into place.
Idea: Snape as the Crow. Hilarious idea but would be interesting if taken seriously in an AU where he was killed by Lupin as a teenager and he kills them all. The Crow had always been seen as justified in their actions because of the horrendous crimes committed by adults. It would be interesting if they were children. Then it would seem horrendous on both sides.
P.S.,
I am fairly sure
Winter aka Nikolas A. Kamarov from WildStorm is an INTJ. Yeah! He was always one of my favorite characters.
