“Hey,” Sergio whispers, always whispers as he leans in but his voice carries over the rush of the crowd. Even here, standing before millions of eyes and god, and the thud of an impatient heart, Iker can hear him. He always hears Sergio.
Iker’s eyes drop to his mouth, the warm color shifting slightly as he moves closer, the flash of tongue wetting them, and all Iker knows is heat. All he hears is Sergio’s voice.
“Hey.”
If they were anywhere else, if they were any other people, the moment would end differently. There would be fingers clasped together, the sigh of lips meeting, the exchange of words through the softest kiss. But they are here, and Sergio presses a hot kiss quick to his cheek and Iker squeezes his wrist, eyes only half closed.
