Hello,
I apologise for leaving the result of this hanging for so long. I have needed to take time out to come to terms with it all (and have my blasted laptop fixed and defragmented).
I can now tell you, with about a week to go until my leaving, that I have succeeded.
My results weren't anything impressive (partly because I'm bad with exams, and partly because my handwriting is shocking (you've all seen it, you can all agree)). However, I have been accepted onto a course at York St John university in York, England, to study English language and Japanese for a joint honours degree. I am not only rather proud of myself, but also ready to begin what will be a whole new chapter of my life, the chance for something entirely more.
So, while I will be far more busy than usual, and my presence may be felt a little less, I will not be leaving. I will still be here, checking in on everyone, remaining close if a little more silent than usual. In the meantime, I will be starting another LJ account in which I will be recording my life over the next three years. It won't involve posting stories as this one does, but it will be hard in other ways. I may provide details for that soon, when it's made, but whether I do or not I hope you find it and enjoy.
It means a lot to know I have you guys here, I hope you know.
