“Nani? Nande?(what? why?)”
“Promise you won’t cry. You might ruin your make-up.” He winked and stood up and went to sit at the grand piano in the other side of the stage where she was sitting. He smiled at her before playing a melody. He kept her eyes on her as he sang.
