Majo to Ai ai ame (magic and love rain)
“Nee, I just performed magic. Kizuita?(did you notice?)” Nino said after a while. They were strolling around the park holding each other’s hand. She stopped walking.
“Hm? Hontou? Itsu?(when?) Nani?(what?)” Rin asked enthusiastically. She loves it whenever he performs magic. She remembered the first time he performed for her, it was to cheer her up.
“Guess.” He said resuming their stroll. She turned her head and looked around.
“Clue.” She pleaded. He raised their linked hands. She looked at it curiously. There glittering with whatever afternoon sun was shining on that cloudy day, is a gold bracelet on her wrist. It had little charms hanging on its chain. There’s an angel, a G-clef, and an orange. She shifted her gaze back at him.
“How did you---”she asked wide-eyed then smiled as she look back on the bracelet.
“O-tanjoubi purezento.(birthday present)” He smiled at her delight.
“Arigatou. I love it.” She kissed him lightly on the cheek. They continued their stroll. She kept raising their linked hands to look at the bracelet.
Rain started to fall, softly at first, until it became a downpour.
They looked around for a place to take cover from the rain but found none. They were already drenched anyway. They looked at each other and started laughing.
“Maa, let’s just enjoy the rain then.” Rin laughed and raised her head to let rain drop on her face.
“Ano nee, remember the last time it rained? I was actually jealous watching you took off with Jin sharing the umbrella but I couldn’t do anything about it at the time… I guess, our romantic rain experience is us being drenched like this.” Nino admitted dejectedly.
“You already felt that way since that time?” she peered at him. “Hmm…I must say, I like this better.” Rin replied placing her arms around his neck and kissed him. Nino smiled then wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her back.
