Glad to know you planned on focusing more on their dealing with the issue than coming up with explanations. The mystery of the supernatural too makes a story more interesting. My insight on it is that they simply have unfinished business, but mostly Yunjae, and time stopping by the both of them waking up should give them a clue. And there has to be a relation between Jaejoong being the most affected (?) and the most broken one of the 5.
