finally updating
So, I am alive. I haven't updated in awhile by Kayla standards. Too much exciting stuff going on I suppose. so i celebrated my birthday with my family on father's day. We had a good time. Charlie and I went home for the fair on that Friday and rode some rides and such. We just hung out with the family on Saturday and did presents on Sunday. I got some fun stuff from my parents and my sisters. Then on tuesday night, Charlie and I went to Biaggis. I was actually kind of mad b/c i didn't get carded at dinner! Who does that on my 21st bday!! ha. Yea, we had a really great night. Then last Thursday, some of the OSLs and I went to Clybourne. It was so much fun. It was funny cuz i was the only one of legal age, but I was the only one that didn't drink. We danced for like 2 hours which of course i love to do. The bad part was that I only got 4 hours of sleep that night, when in reality i need like 7 or 8. Then I had my big party on Friday night. It was soooooo much fun. So many of my friends came. I was actually surprised that so many people came. Yea, I was incredibly wasted. Toward the end of the night, Court and I were dancing on chairs all by ourselves for like 2 hours. So funny! Then at like 3:30, we decided we were hungry, so like 8 of us went to IHOP. It was good, but by that point, I was exhausted. So basically, Kel, Charlie, and I went to bed around 4:30. I then woke up at 9 to drive home for my cousin's wedding. Saturday might have been the most miserable day of my life! I was sooo hung-over and tired. To top it off, I got pulled over on my way home and the officer took my brand new license to hold as bond until I pay my ticket. I probably won't get it back until mid to late July :( Very sad news. I was so tired and anti-social during the wedding. I was like counting down the minutes until I could go to bed. I went to bed at like 10:30 and slept til 12 the next day. Sunday was good though. I hung out with the family and then came back to school to unpack some of my new stuff (my george foreman and shower radio). Oh yea, Steph watch out cuz now I have music to sing to in the morning instead of making up my own songs :) Yea, that's pretty much what's been going on. I pretty much had a week long birthday and now I am just kind of relaxing.
I don't have much going on this week. I am meeting w/ Nancy and Kavita tonight as is our summer tradition. I think we are getting Papa Del's. woo hoo. Possibly seeing bewitched tomorrow night with some of the osls. I am going home for the Fourth which is kind of fun since I didn't last year (I was in MI with my baby). I am looking forward to it. The weekend after that, Charlie and I are staying in Alton at a really cute bed and breakfast. I'm really looking forward to that.
Charlie and I are wonderful as usual. We are having a really good summer. It's been really relaxing so far. His classes right now are keeping him a lot busier than he was, but he still makes time for me cuz I'm his favorite :) I don't think we have much else going on other than that. Well, I think that pretty much keeps you posted on my life.
