Confession Part XIV
It's been quite some time since I have written in my journal. Final exams have been putting me in a dreary and anxiety filled mood. I've been studying so hard, but I'm glad that I have some days with no finals so I can study harder or rest from those late night study sessions like 4 AM, and then have the final at 8 AM. Hopefully, it will all be worth it. I'm so looking forward to the Christmas break, however, Rui must get a job, because Spring Break 2002 will be right around the corner when I get back to school. Can't wait to see both my crews from back home. Finals have really put a damper on Rui's attempt to be walk-on for the UConn Men's Basketball team. I haven't hit up the courts or the weight room. I can't wait to finally step into the almost complete Portuguese Cultural Center, where me and my dad will watch countless Portuguese soccer matches on the weekends. I can't wait to hang out with my parents for a period longer than 2 days. I haven't called them in a couple of weeks, this is all due to the extreme amount of studying and pressure that finals exert on one's self.
Come Thursday, this week of misery will finally be completed and I will have new semester to look forward too. Hope everyone continues to do well on their exams and to all my friends I'll see you all soon. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE....Peace!
