i really want to rent those spanish apartments where markham turns into 3rd street. they look like south beach, and the bathrooms have black and white tiles and a clawfoot tub. i bet some neat people live there already. i just can't wait to have my own house. my own place to live with things that belong to me. knick knacks and lamps and plates and artwork. that whole picture doesn't seem right without jacob sittin' at the kitchen table waiting for me to flip his pancakes or lyin' in bed reading something too smart for me but still waiting for me to come snuggle up next to him.

and he sent me such a cute picture with some green hair and little rosey cheeks like a beautiful baby.
