Chickens and Moxen
So yesterday... that was... something.
The anime club needed to get our advisor to sign some paperwork. Unfortunately, we really hadn't been able to get in contact with her. I'd sent an e-mail (Since that's my job). Erica sent an e-mail (Since she's El Presidente). and neither of heard a response. So Kate and I went hunting.
And we found a Wild Dowling. That was a fun time in and of itself. Erica was really the only officer that had ever really laid eyes on her. Kate and I had seen her once when she came to our meetings. But that was 2 years ago now. In any case, we got her signature so we could finally turn in our club paperwork.
And then we found out that we really needed to do some other paper work ASAP. Kate, Erica, and Steve all had classes. I was free until 2:30. So guess who was default volunteered to do the errands? You're right! It was me!
So I ran around campus. I went to the people who handle room reservations to make sure no one took Anime Club's room. I went filled out a form and went to SGA to get approval for petty cash so Anime club could buy ingredients to make cookies for homecoming (Tomorrow), then went back to SILD to get the cash itself.
Then I had to hunt down Professor Dowling AGAIN so that I could get her to sign one more form so that she knows we're having a bake sale. She leaves at 2:30. So I had to rush up to meet her before her class finished. Ambush was successful, got her signature. THEN I needed to get Erica's Sig on that same form, since she's El Presidente.
When all was said and done, I ran back across campus to SILD, dropped off the form, and was finally done. I made it to class at about... 2:37. Oh well. I was sweaty and tired and stressed. And finished.
So today we had to go shopping, since the petty cash envelopes are due back 24 hours from when they were received. I was again the only one available. So I called jacqui to see if I could borrow her car. Jacqui and I went to stop and shop and then wal-mart, got the stuff, and came back.
So after being a chicken with no head for 2 days, I can finally relax.
Which is a good thing, since Dave Jasmin (A friend-ish) here, told me that apparently they're putting OLD cards into Zendikar boosters, and the information is actually legit. Cards that can never be reprinted are going into Zendikar packs. Moxen especially. It's REALLY rare, since they're original copies that were in storage, but still. If I can get a good pack, I'll make my life.
So that's my day. oi. Time for lunch, then class, then home, then work 6-10.
