So tonight was... interesting.

D&D shouldn't have this much drama.

So we have had this player who was always starting shit for no reason. We'll call her Fishsticks. She never played 4e (which we're playing) before, but then, neither had we. So there was this big character creation session so that the DM could figure out just what we were doing for characters. He told us what we had to do. How many of each kind of power we could have (2 At-wills, 1 Encounter, 1 Daily, 1 Utility).

But somehow (And we found this out MUCH later... like... a month ago) that Fishsticks somehow had 3 at-wills, 3 encounters, and 2 dailies. Not that this mattered much anyway. As a CLERIC (Read= spellcaster) she kept doing stupid shit like "make a basic melee attack!" and no matter how healthy her character was she was "almost bloodied" after taking 7 damage (out of 30 something). Also, she never RPed at all. There was NO character development. All she did was roll dice that we told her to roll and then draw lion-king characters in her sketchbook.

So we mentioned this to her when we found out, saying that she should decide which she wanted to keep and which she wanted to throw out. She got all huffy and basically ripped her sheet away from us.

Cut to the next week, no change on the sheet, so we pointed out AGAIN, the issue, and she erased one of her at-will powers. So at that point she had the right amount of those, so whatever, we called that a day.

Now, she had been pretty good about her general emo-ness after that. Before this she had been unbearably retardedly emo. So it was almost fun to have her with us.

Then cut to TONIGHT.

Well, I looked at her sheets to suggest a move, and realized, oh wait... this is still not right, so we said that it wasn't right, that it was impossible to have that many powers. She got WICKED upset and started mumbling about how "she should just stop playing, since she can't seem to do anything right."

And so I finally had enough of her, and I told her flat out that what she was saying was rediculous, that it's just a mistake, easy to fix.

She responds by getting teary and continuing to babble about how she should just quit, and then that she was going to take a walk. Well, three of our other friends leave to see if they can help, but it seems as though Fishsticks took a different route, and came back 2 minutes later, at which time she packed up her character sheets and left.

When my RA (who also is in the campaign, as a MUCH better character of the same class) said (sincerely and nicely) "Bye" she was responded to with a "fuck off" and we heard a "Why did I start playing in the first place?" on the way out.

So as soon as she was gone, I wiped her name off the initiative list, and later Carty (another player) killed her character off.

And Mike (DM) has said that if she wants to come back, she'll have to NEVER make that much of a scene again. But we doubt she will, considering her character just got shanked.

Personally, I think she was just doing it for attention. And when we didn't coddle her like she wanted us to, she got pissy and decided to leave.

I am SO glad she's gone.

So yes. That's THAT.

And then Carty pulled a double cross, so all of our characters are in rough shape at the moment. We're lucky we didn't drown in a submerged river actually.

Also: my character has a USELESS god. The one time I ask for help, I'm told that "You must pay in sacrifice." So basically I'm going to have to cut off my hand, or maim myself before I can get some evil brandings off of me. Well that sucks. I feel SO bad for Rizzar (my character) so many bad things happen to him in game, lol.
