Just heard back from a publisher; no they aren't interested in the novel I sent but I should keep them in mind for future submissions.
I could practice the arcane art of rejectomancy, but that wouldn't do me much good. "Not quite what we're looking for at this time" could mean anything.
I guess it's time to either rethink submission tactics, work on something else, or both.
In the meantime I suddenly have a house full of loud annoying teenagers that make me want to go on a rampage just to shut them up, so I'd better leave this.
