I went go-karting on Saturday as part of a Buck's Night. The bruises are fading as slowly as the exhilaration, and I urge anyone with a spare day and a hundred dollars to burn to find some similarly-minded friends and book yourselves into Kingston Park Raceway for their unique brand of therapy.

The rest of that day stretched on through a couple of pubs and innumerable glasses. After the Guinness I can mostly recall a shocking beer named Rogers, passionfruit and liqueurs over ice and some sort of flaming absinthe and sambuca drink which the bartender made me inhale before I imbibed. Good times and dear friends, but I'm getting too old for that stuff.

I was mildly hungover on Sunday but managed to make it to church in one piece. The evening service had a guest speaker named Sergio, who is apparently a world-leading motivational speaker in business, so we went to that too. He spoke passionately and familiarly, and it was rewarding listening to hear someone not just practised but talented. The BBQ outside tried to convince me I could eat more of the tasty-looking burgers than I thought I could but the hangover was firm.

We've rolled new characters in WoW so as to keep windwalkr company as he climbs to our mains' level on Khaz'goroth, so I caught up with him last night after tutoring. Much feasting on KFC, coke and the like.

Uh. We also had our first netball game of the season on Tuesday. In true form, we were one player down and lost convincingly, 29 to 7. We're coming together though, and I shudder to think what might happen if we ever had seven people turn up. It's been so long, maybe we'd not remember what to do with the extra player.

Thanks to kithal for taking j the beer duchessie and I owed. Hope it's cheering him up.

Tutoring. Has started. Yeah. Stuff it. Later.

wow, beer, wedding, netball
