Today's been a mixed bag of yay. A Saturday of good moments, none of them spring to mind now with the clarity I'd have liked.
I ate breakfast - two Timtams and my last bottle of imported Dew - while finishing Halo on Legendary. I had tea for an afternoon lunch and lunch for afternoon tea, between which I got together with jelashke to see Porco Rosso at the Schonell. freddo was there too. I'm glad I finally got to see it, it was a great movie and I loved it, and I was delighted to find it shown in its original language track with subtitles. Score. (Aside - kithal? Hope everything's turned out fine, that kithalBro's in okay. Get in touch for a movie or something..)
Much of the afternoon was spent pouring over code, in particular two routines incorrectly producing demonstrably different images. This came to a head a short time ago, when I realised that, in fact, they were producing the same image, but the one at the top of alice's screen had a slightly different contrast to the one at the bottom of alice's screen because I was viewing them at slightly different angles on an LCD screen. What a waste of time -_-
