I woke up feeling quite thrilled today. Why you may ask? Because tomorrow school starts!! hahhahaha yeah I'm excited! I can't wait to learn! That's the one thing I'm really looking forward to. This summer I learned just how important education is --thanks YouTube & those ignorant people who tried to shove nonsense down people's throat and labeling someone else something horrid or incorrect. Anyway I'm also really nervous for Algebra 2. I hate math! It's unbelievable how much I've come to despise math. I used to like it back in elementary school and I'll admit I used to be pretty good at it especially in multiplication, but every since the second semester of sixth grade I knew Math was going to be my enemy. Even counting up change at the store freaks me out! I always feel like "Oh God, can you do it for me?" even though I can't do it myself but I'm always doubting if I'm right even though I know I am right! It's crazy and it just stresses me out! My friend who took two math classes sophomore year had the same teacher I'll have for Algebra 2 so she knows how he works I suppose. I'll be asking for a lot of help. I'm determined to achieve more than ever. I've always been satisfied with my grade even in math surprisingly I did quite well in geometry. I dunno but I feel like I want to seek for more and I never felt like this about my education. Also junior year will soon turn into senior year which will be full of college applications and what not. I was also nervous about lunch...I honestly felt okay if I didn't have any of my close friends in my classes but I wanted to have someone to eat with. I happily do have few food friends to eat with and I have my close friends in basically 3 classes so it's all good.
This is my Junior Schedule:
We don't have a period 1 which is ridiculous but whatever floats their boat I guess.
2. Algebra 2
3. Web Design 2 (I like this teacher since I already had him. He's got a sense of humor.)
4. French 3 (the one class I'm super excited for! Mon prof est tres drole!)
5. AP Eco
6. Chemistry
7. AP Psychology (I'm very interested in this subject and I hope it turns out to be worthwhile)
8. Accel. English (everyone gloats about this teacher and how nice and funny she is, which would be refreshing from my sophomore year haha)
Second Semester:
2. Algebra 2
3. AP Psychology
4. French 3
5. Chemistry
6. Team Sports
7. AP Gov. & Pol. US
8. Accel. English
And I have 9 off which is great because I had a full schedule the first semester of my sophomore year & it wasn't so great.
Besides all my crazy school joy, there are some teams that I like to keep up with playing today! I have a soft spot for Werder Bremen and Valencia but I want Arsenal to dominate in their game. For some reason I was quite sad that the Argentina midfielder Juan Roman Riquelme will join Atletico Madrid for 2 years. I liked Riquelme in Copa America. In fact I thought Argentina had a great national team but too bad they came out short. I still think Argentina has great players and I easily list them off my head which I can't do for other national teams except USA. Speaking of USA the U-17 team play against Germany tomorrow in the knock out stage. I hope it's an intense and satisfying game even if we come out as the loosing team. It always makes me feel good to talk about the positive things. Also I'm wondering if the US roster for Clash of Champions against Brazil have been listed. I should look that up....
