Life on an Army Post...
So today I had one of those moments that remind me I live on an Army post. Joni is terrified of thunder. Well, the artillery is out on the range today...and we can hear and FEEL it at our house. There was a particularly loud boom and Joni came running to me and I said to her.."It's ok, its only the artillery, hon."!!! Where else would a mommy comfort her child with that statement! It just made me chuckle after I realized what a silly statement that would be if we lived anywhere else!
