Merry Christmas everyone!
Turkey dinner last night was good... although my mom was up to her usual shenanigans! I don't know why she can't be happy without insulting someone!
Yesterday I mentioned that my hubby's prof had told him to persue a PhD once he's finished his master's degree. Then my mom pipes up with one of her famous, shock the room silent comments "I think you should just get a G-- D--- job!"
Lovely!
And know my hubby is all stressed out because he thinks I put her up to it, that I don't support him... that I want him to quit school and get a job - even though I made him turn down a well paying job so he could stay in his degree!!!!
Grrrrr!
My mom is very frustrating, she's always got to have her nose where it doesn't belong and say very inappropriate, even rude things!
And it was a great evening up to that point... now things at home are terrible!
