Christmas. Has there ever been a more worthless holiday? It does, however, make a good time to get rid of less than useful employees of Shin-Ra. Saves having to give out a Christmas bonus if nothing else. It also makes the end of quarter earning reports look better to lose the dead weight.

I do not care if my employees want to have Christmas things at their desks or the like, but I draw the line when they feel the need to infringe on my personal space doing such. There was a reason that I didn't have a tree in my office. First and foremost was that I don't like Christmas. Second was that I happen to find twinkling lights and those too cheery decorations slightly nauseating.

I don't know what that woman was thinking when she put one up in there. I take that back. I do know what she was thinking. It was probably something along the lines that somewhere beneath my cold exterior I have a nice, warm heart that all she had to do was reach out to. That, of course, would probably earn her my love or at least my bank account and a nice advancement at work. As if I would even consider a woman who wears makeup thick enough to need sandblasted off and fake eyelashes that look like bristly spider legs. I can't even imagine the amount of damage her face rubbing against one of my pillowcases could do to it. I'd never get the stains out.

The next Christmas card, light, bulb, tree, baked good, present, or anything else that finds its way into my office is going to result in either a firing or a demotion. It's all bunk anyways.
