okay, I'm lining up my subber job(s). I want to know what y'all think of this one:
I'd be working with NHPIRGS to go door-to-door asking people to join as a member from 4-10 PM Mon-Fri. It'd be in towns like Exeter, Hanover, (aka: ritzy towns). I was offered the position of field manager, which means an extre 50$/week and its a leadership position. She said you generally make 300-500$/week, but that's based on getting more than 90$ in donations/night. she (the interviewer/director) also said that you get to talk to about 40 houses a night and 4-5 people will donate. We're asking for 15$/month or a 60$ donation. Does this seem legit?
the good thing is I'd get a lot of experience with what fundraising is like and get to go to press conferences and breifings or whatever, which is cool because I think I'll be doing advocacy work for my career. And i'm shy about findraising, which is something I need to get over. But all I really care about this sumemr is the money. Does anyone have experience doing this? Do you think its realistic for NH?
I'd appreciate all the input I can get. PS-if you're interested I have info and I get a 100$ bonus for bringing a friend. mkay?
Any other job offers out there that reel in the dough?
