Yeah, though I walk through the valley of bridesmaids, I shall fear no wedding planner: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff -- are all that keep me from falling over!!
You ARE??? How did I miss this??? I thought you had broken up?
And I love Castle McCulloch. :) Just if you go with the room with the arched ceiling and all the glass in the round-- not the best room for live bagpipes. ;) Recorded would probably work, but live ones just echo something fierce.
Nope -- No idea where you would have gotten the idea that there was a breakup. Although, the first time Vicki came out to Greensboro was ahh two weeks after Riley was born. So I suspect you've been more than a little distracted the entire time.
As far as the castle goes -- that's precisely the room we have, well the Crystal Gardens Ballroom & Patio or hillside terrace. The idea is to have the actual wedding under the terrace's tent and then have the reception inside the ballroom. Since you have to also make sure no one else is having an outdoor ceremony to have the bagpipes outside -- I suspect we'll skip that. The castle's list of preferred musicians also includes this violin duo from Raleigh who I'd love to book, but I don't know if that's going to be possible.
Granted, my original idea -- is to take some speakers and either my laptop or ipod and use that.
