-i bought a couch today, hurray! it's almost completely brand new and a beautiful chocolate brown microfiber with a pull out sofabed. and only $350, woohoo! and since i do not have my own place yet it shall sit in my parents living room :)
-i am finally going to get new glasses! that's a big deal, the last time i got my glasses updated to my current prescription was when i got them...in like 1999 hehe
-cars suck, in the last month i've had to put about $1,000 into my car that i have already had to put $1,000 into and still needs a few more things...oh did i mention i've only had it for 9 months? oye.
-stephanie's wedding was beautimous! and thanks to her and her sisters so was i, lol. it was a wonderful, beautiful, romantic and fun time and anyone who didn't go is an idiot! unless of course you were not invited, in which case i guess you shoulda been better friends with steph :D
-i am a hypocrite. i scold my clients for not getting massages often enough when the last massage i got was in november. let's just say my back is not fond of my brain right now
-i am pleasantly surprised at how busy we have stayed at work despite it being the off season (aka 118 degrees in phoenix does not equal many tourists!) i am also pleased that i passed the "6 month test" and have been bumped up in status from a 3 to a 2 (aka from whatever may be left over from the more important therapists into the rotation of shift call offs when it's slow) not to mention my purdy little 21 cent raise, woot woot, not bad for just doing what i'm supposed to!
-we lost power at work on friday cuz of the monsoon. that was good times, nothing like giving massages in a room with no music, no lights, no clock and most importantly no air conditioning. gooooood times, thank goodness they fixed that problem rather quickly!
-just wanted to mention that i am simply *loving* the fact that i glance at my status bar to see that it's 1:20am and right next to that it tells me it's also 100 degrees out still. go phoenix go.
-i bought the coolest pair of shoes at target the other day. i was ecstatic, searched everywhere to find a pair that matched the pair i bought cordelia and found 'em randomly at target while i wasn't even looking. found an absolutely ridiculous and wonderful pair of heels that i LOVE at anchor blue...waiting for them to go on sale or for me to convince myself that it is in fact alright for me to spend $28 on a pair of shoes that i probably won't wear very often and will most likely cause my feet pain :)
-yeah i'm definitely just rambling in this entry. haven't posted in a long time though and kinda felt like it tonight.
-for all you drum corp fans out there, on thursday august 10th at 3pm the dci championships will be transmitted live by satellite to the amc at desert ridge. according to the website it's supposed to be 5 1/2 hours long and tickets are an outrageous $18 considering you're only watching it live, you're not actually there. that however is not deterring my consideration in going...
-there is a weird noise coming from outside my window, it sounds like either a skateboarder or some crazy wind, yet i look outside and see neither...thinking maybe i should go to bed now, lol. yup, good plan that is. so buh bye for now, until i feel like posting again!
