life, or something like it
that was a crappy movie- just incase any of you never saw it, you should keep it that way :)
so yesterday (even though it seems like a much longer time ago) i had to say goodbye to my sweetie so he could venture back to the far away land of tucson to be daily tortured by his uncaring and cruel teachers. *sigh* it was a sad sad miserable day for me indeed. we did go to eatza pizza though, and that was good. and i got my very late but wonderful and hand made christmas present (a large box/treasure chest thing...all that matters is it has a lock!) and scott is a very creative boy for he designed and made the entire thing himself!
after some very boring paper work at the marriott and receiving my outdated uniform cuz they're out of the current one, and oh yeah my drug test (who doesn't love peeing in a cup while someone stands outside the door to make sure you don't cheat!?) i headed home and convinced nate and james to finally install my car stereo that sid gave me for christmas! :) i eventually had to leave them cuz it was getting late. rumor has it they went to bed at 330am, lol. 8 hours isn't so bad... :)
today was day one of many days of training and the like at the marriott. aside from the fact that everyone i was training with had already worked multiple shifts and henceforth knew how the spa does things and it was only my like third time ever in the building and the fact that the therapist training us was stright from sweden and her accent made things difficult to understand i'd say things went well! we learned their signature scrubs today and that was great- the kinda stuff i wanna work at a spa for! course i realized that the marriott isn't all it's cracked up to be for many things are broken, missing, misplaced, unstocked or simply incorrect and they have poor communication and are very disorganized. however i think once i get in and get into the swing of things i'll be okay. that is if i ever get in...supposed to start friday, i've been told i may come in on sunday if things pick up. oye, so much for a second job! :) ah well, i think it'll all work out- eventually.
but now i sit, after doing many loads of laundry and cleaning my room, i sit missing my scott and wishing he wasn't in tucson watching lost with his roommates...or at least that i was there with him. and for those of you who don't care to hear me complain about how much i miss him...too bad!
well this has turned out to be a simply lovely entry and i would just like to let you all know that i got an address book for christmas so i can be more organized so please feel free to leave me your address, email, phone numbers etc in a comment or email it to me at peanutbuttajelly@juno.com so that i may one day put my organization into good use in the form of phone calls, emails and birthday/christmas/congratulations cards!
