The weekend was fun, and today I was a little insane, haha.
On Friday, I went to the mall to get my exercise on. There were freaking SING ALONGS to some of the songs on the In The Groove Machine. >.> Namely the Miley Cyrus song, "See You Again." Was funny in its own insane way. Also, some girl was kicking everyone's ass at Air Hockey, even the old grumpy guy that works there, Caesar, challenged her and lost. XD I think someone said the girl's name was Sam or Anastasia or something, but I dunno. Just know she comes by every now and then. In my wait time for ITG, I played my Dragon Quest IV.
Saturday was brawl day with Ben. Since he pretty much never offers food (and even eats food in front of whoever is there) I went to Quick Chek for a sub to bring along and eat for the duration of the day, as well as tons of water. Joe2 was already there when I got there, then later Sara and Crazy Hair Dave came along to brawl. It was some fun, but I get kind of bored of the same thing after awhile, so we tried a little bit of new ideas, though this was after Dave had to leave for work at 5. We tried 3 on 1 matches where I took on Ben, Sara, and Joe in a team match and they had to play as random characters. Funny thing is, the first time we tried, they all got characters they are good with. XD I still did decent and managed to get 3 lives off them each before being killed. We altered the rules as these things went on, and Ben tried taking on "the mob" as well. Had rules like lone person picks which characters the other person plays, picks stage and item setting. Sort of like a handicap to make it slightly less difficult. Didn't help though, I don't think there were any matches where the lone person won. Best I got was killing two people I think... Uh, things got boring at one point, so some Mario Kart Wii was played. I was royally sucking mostly, but it was nice for a small change I guess, but I got sick of it quickly, so Sara, Ben, and I took a break and just ate our food, drank some things, and either watched or played with our portable systems. Joe left later, and another random friend of Ben's came over really late just to hang for a bit. Sara and I left shortly afterwards.
Sunday, I mainly played Dragon Quest all day and beat the game's main stories, just doing a few sidequests I missed (which is like nothing heh) and I'll already be done with the game. I was happy I managed to challenge myself while beating the game, like at one point in the game, there are fours mini-bosses you have to beat in order to get to the main boss. I split the party up, even though I didn't have to, in order to beat them. I split the teams up so Alena, Cristo [Kiryl], and Brey [Borya] fought one boss (one fighter, one healer with minimal attack, one mage), Nara [Meena] and Mara [Maya] fought another (One healer with minimal attack, one mage), Ragnar and Torneko the third (Knight and Merchant), and last pairing was myself (the hero with good attack, spells, and healing) with a dragon monster to help me. Hardest was Ragnar and Torneko since I had to give them both the very limited healing items and merchant. Died one time, but second time was the charm!
Besides the game, Sara had come over just to hang out. She played some Twilight Princess and other random games while I in the same room played my DS. I already told her I would pretty much be absorbed into this game if she wanted to come over, but she didn't mind, and it was great to have her company anyway, even if we weren't necessarily playing WITH each other.
And as for today, I went on a mini-cleaning spree in my living room. I organized things, put people's belongings in their room, but the odder thing I did today, which I admit must have been an OCD moment or something, but I left a bunch of little notes to let people know what I cleaned, what I moved or put in recyclables or in people's rooms, and other such fun things. XD It felt good to do really, since it can get boring around here after awhile, especially since I beat my game. Ah well.
Jessica got home and informed me Heroes Season 3 is starting today and we might not be able to record all of the first episode since mom has two important recordings already scheduled... and I can't watch it since I haven't caught up with season 2 since the stupid nbc website decided to take down most their full episodes when I was actively catching up on it... So we're splitting the cost on the DVD boxset sorta so we can watch it and catch up before any more new episodes come, and I plan to search online for any NEW episode I miss and can't record on our DVR.
