Ahhhhh Uni work #1
I figured I'd post what I've been up to for the last week or so!
We had a deadline to meet today for Uni, at 5pm exactly~ It's actually for a nation-wide competition, but the lady who organized the event emailed our lecturer to give our class extra info! He's been swapping emails with her ever since he first found out about the event, so we could get as much info as we needed, and i'm pretty impressed about how passionate he is about us excelling in something like this! It's really neat to see that our lecturer cares about us so much ahaha.

Anyway the aim for the competition was to design a radio that would show the New Zealand culture. Since i'm from the UK, and i've only lived here in NZ for a few years, I was a bit nervous when we first had to pick a topic to base our designs on. Honestly I haven't explored the country as much as I'd like; But I had worked for a honey franchise (Arataki Honey) for a year when I first came to NZ, and I learnt their that NZ was quite well known for it's Manuka honey and stuff. So I pretty much just grabbed that idea and went along with it, ahaha;;; So my radio is a honey bee hive radio! Yayyyyy~;;;;;
I spent most of the Easter break working on the poster, and making sure everything was there and whatever. I actually only finished it with an hour to spare LOL; My lecturer had called me a few minutes before I was done and asked how I was going with it. He actually sounds kinda angry that I hadn't gone in during my break to talk to him about it; But he has seen my sketches and research and I think he was just nervous about my progress (since he knows how lazy I can be OTL).
He told me to email my WIP to him asap so he could have a look, and I quickly agreed. By the time I put the phone down I realized that I didn't actually have his email address OTL OTL OTL;;;; So after freaking out about it for a while ( LOL AHAHA omg my heart was pounding. I swear that man is so intimidating; (or maybe I'm just a push-over)). Anyway eventually I found it in one of my notebooks, thank GOD LOL;;; I got the email in, and sent my entry in on time too (with 30mins to spare OTL)! Though he never replied back; (ffff dammit if you're gonna freak me out about stuff like this, at least REPLY to my email.)
BUT YEAH I TOTALLY FINISHEDDD *sobbbbb* So glad it's done;; I'm totally taking a day off tomorrow to read some RoyEd fics or something; Maybe i'll take a walk to the store ffff I need chocolate;;
