I've had a lot going on since my move.  A few days ago I installed Mint Linux.  It works nicely.  I have to say it's one of the best Linux distros I've tried to date.

My blood pressure has been on the slightly high side, but the doctor says that I can first try diet and exercise. I'm starting to go to the YMCA three times a week to get more exercise in, and I've already been eating healthier, so I'm keeping that up.

I made fish chowder again the other day.  I can really tell the difference between fish that is from the US and fish that is imported from China.  This fish smelled so good raw that it could probably have passed for sushi grade.

I recently downloaded Paper Mario for the Wii.  I know I have it for the N64, but it's a pain to drag out the N64 to play it, and it is a good game.  It was well worth the $10.  I'm almost through the Shy Guy's Toybox level (quite amusing).  There are a few jokes in the game intended to lead the imagination.  I still can't believe it got labeled a "kiddie game" by US gaming magazines just because it had bright colors.

A few weeks ago I rented Godfather: Black Hand Edition for the Wii.  That has to be the most violent game I've ever played.  It makes the Grand Theft Auto series look like a Sesame Street game.  Something about actually having to use the motion sensing controller makes the game far more immersive.   Throwing enemies off of rooftops has to be one of the highlights, but in close second is snapping an enemy's neck from behind.

I'm working at getting a Job.  I hope it goes well, but it will take time . . . Frustratingly long time.
