OMG HOME FINALLY.
Met many awesome people whose LJ names I have utterly forgotten. Saw three (THREE!!!) fantastic MCR shows. Roadtripped with seimaisin, shrift, and fairestcat from Chicago to Detroit. Did not get lost in downtown Detroit. (win!)
This was the most fun I have had in pretty much FOREVER. I am way too dead to write a concert report, but trust me when I say that being in the crowd at an MCR show is pretty much a religious experience.
I injured myself headbanging to "Dead!". I think this gives me some kind of cred? Yeah, maybe of the "Hey, you rock pretty hard for being in your mid-thirties" variety. *snerk*
SO MUCH FUN. WOULD DO IT ALL AGAIN. And hey, by the third night, Gerard had gone from "We're taking two years off after this tour," to "one year," to "six months." As seimaisin pointed out, at this rate they'll be going into the studio the day they get off tour. *g*
