insomniac extraodinaire
my nights this week: can't sleep can't sleep, too tired awake excited anxious sad ecstatic confused overwhelmed
i started packing yesterday day and hallelujah it's all going to fit in the bags i brought (thankyou amy for taking home some of my stuff!!! =) i have one almost completely packed and as soon as my laundry dries i'll move on to the next one. our washing machine, which for a while would spray water all over the bathroom when it drained out of the machine, never making it through the pipe and flooding the floor instead, now doesnt drain completely and the clothing comes out sopping wet. our australian neighbor offered the use of the spin cycle on her machine, which means lugging it all to her apartment but also that it doesnt take a week for everything to dry (key when you're leaving in two days!) i got one load done while she was home, but my second finished after she'd left so i was left with no choice but to stand over the bathroom sink with a sad basket of my soaking wet, albeit clean, clothes, wringing everything dry. lemme tell ya, jeans are not fun to wring dry! i finally caved in and hung my jeans out the window come i italiani, and they were dry in mere hours thanks to the wonderful italian sun that has made a reappearance just in time for our last week in perugia.
i made a delicious tuna matzah pizza and went to see 'hitch' with amanda and julie at the theatre next to my apartment... for the last time =\ but i also just finished my second to last final but tomorrow's our last day here but seth gets here in less than 48 hours my time and im so excited to do some travelling again but im going to miss perugia but i want to go home and see everyone i love but im going to miss my friends here but we'll see each other because i conveniently befriended east-coasters O=).
and so continues my sleep deprived brain =P
