Bowling for Rhino time of the year again :)
Hello all -
Here is my annual plea - and now I'm a part of the organization and helping to run the event (gather donations for raffle/silent auction, etc) rather than just being a participant - I am participating as well, however. Bowling, here I come!
Anyway, my zoo's chapter of AAZK (American Association of Zoo Keepers) is doing Bowling for Rhino's again on August 6, 2005, which is basically a fundraiser that occurs in a bowling alley where all the proceeds go directly to rhino conservation efforts. So, if anyone wants to sponsor me (huge grin) I am taking bids. Its just flat donations in reality, no cents per pin knocked down or anything like that... Too difficult to organize and collect and you never know if I have a good night or a bad night.
It is a fun event and hopefully will do as well or better than it did last year.
