I just finished watching Rob Roy, it's an amazing movie. My goal is to get through everything Tim Roth has ever done. He is great in this film, even though his character is a complete fucking asshole. Anyway, if you want to watch a great Scottish movie (that's not Braveheart) I highly recommend this one.
So on Sunday I went to Cambridge for the Hometown Throwdown 11. It was awesome, easily the best concert I've ever seen. I'm not really into hardcore but Slapshot was brilliant (Choke is fucking intense!). Seeing the Bosstones at the HTTD was was waaay better then when they played the civic center. The set list was better, as well as the crowd. Even though it was an all age show the crowd was really cool and since tickets are so crazy to get I'm guessing the majority of people were legit Bosstones fans (not just people who heard "the impression that i get" and all of a sudden decide they like ska). Anyway here's the set list:
Old School off the Bright
Dr. D
Rascal King
Someday I Suppose
The Meaning
Last Dead Mouse
Royal Oil
Rudie Can't Fail
Guns and the Young
Numbered Days
Hope I Never Lose My Wallet
Don't Worry Desmond Dekker
You Gotta Go!
Where'd You go?
Hell of a Hat
1-2-8
Devil's Night Out
Desensitized
Impression
What's At Stake feat. Choke
Encore:
Wrong Thing Right Then
Pirate Ship
