Has it been 3 weeks since I last updated?
I try to keep it once a week, but I've been procrastinating alot lately. Oh well.
Sooo...I DID quit Borders to work full-time at a closer Barnes & Noble. It's fast-paced and busy most of the time, but the people there are remarkably chill. I've been so stressed from trying to learn the drinks and stuff that almost everything else fell by the wayside. I'm a hermit again, except when I visited Ethan who surprised me with his new girlfriend.
I also finally went to some concerts. Rise Against were awesome, but I missed Dredg because they were going on late and I wanted to leave early that night. Whatever, at least I saw Matt, who I haven't seen in months. Another plus, a hookah bar opened up in Fresh Meadows! It's good, cheap, and not a dive. I know where my first paycheck's going...also, in my savings.
"Funny People" was good, but way too long, and "500 Days of Summer" was great. It's almost like an antidote to "Say Anything" and I mean that as a compliment (though the latters one of my favorites). I've also been reading Chuck Palahniuk, who is currently having his way with my mind. I polished off "Rant" and I'm halfway through "Survivor." This dude has one fucked up p.o.v. but it's really funny.
