Oy. So today was officially Assholes Try To Merge Day. I hate bad drivers, especially the ones that speed up right next to you right before their lane ends, and then get pissed when you brake, because OBVIOUSLY you should have known they weren't going to cut you off, but go in behind you. Honestly. I'm so terribly sorry that my desire to continue living was greater than my desire to not interrupt your flow. Jerks.

Anyway, work sucked because there was absolutely NOTHING to do. Nothing. I mean, I probably did a total of 1.5 hours worth of paperwork/filing, and that was it. The other 6.5 hours? Lunch break, I guess you could call it. Or prolonged coffee break. But whatever you call it, I basically sat in my cubicle and read the whole day. And got paid $11.50 an hour to do so. I finished Pride and Prejudice for the sixth time, and started Slaughterhouse 5. I am now halfway through it. This would be cool except that I still feel really guilty, because the other intern, Chris, is really lucky and always seems to have work to do, and here I am in my cubicle making a dent in my summer reading. Oh well, it's not my fault. I asked for work about 500 times, and I think I am considered extremely annoying in that office.

Oh, and about the other intern in my office. He's really nice, but he calls his girlfriend all...the...time. Which is awesome because I can hear their conversations since I'm in the cubicle next to him. And they're hilarious conversations, because after they've discussed her headache or what they each had for lunch or when they will see each other next, they start to say goodbye. Sooo funny because they say "Bye" about 9 times on average before they actually hang up because something keeps coming up that requires an additional "I Love You." Hahaaaa. The best was when he told her that he was looking at houses, because she had apparently told him that she wanted to live in Madison. She started worrying about money or something, so he had to calm her down to tell her that he was just looking. So the next day I try to spot an engagement ring on his hand, because, you know, if he's looking at houses, it must be serious, right? Well, I find out later that he's younger than me. I don't know if you'll find this as funny as I do, but come on. He was looking at houses? He hasn't even left the dorms yet!

Well, enough of that. I had a great weekend in the Nati, and I miss you guys already! Charlotte, you were dearly missed. Carissa and I had White Castle on the way home, and I have to say that it was the most disgusting thing ever. Ewwwww. The best line was from Carissa "Ew. When I burp, I can taste it!"
