Stumbled across some interesting music on MySpace -- a group called Dylan Howe and the Subterraneans, who are doing jazz versions of songs from David Bowie's Berlin period (the Low and Heroes albums.)
The four songs they've put up on the site are apparently demos, and they seem to plan to do more with the arrangements at some point later (add strings?), but they sound pretty polished to me. "Art Decade" works with electronics a little more than the others, which tend more to just piano, drums, bass, trumpet and a couple of saxaphones, but it's all nice stuff, and worth checking out.
