Packing and Uni Excitement

I'm going to Uni in three days! Waking up early on Saturday morning and travelling four hours up to Keele with my Dad and Steven. Am mildly petrified, but you know what? I actually feel optimistic about this. I'm usually such a pessimist, so this is significant. I'm going to Uni to try and make something of myself! And get on HIGNFY. I can see the

Haha, you should get one of those novelty umbrella hats :p Well, go you cause you'd never guess it was naturally curly or even wavy! (Although with an afro you'd get free entry into Discothemed party nights!) My hair tends to flick up annoyingly if I keep putting it behind my ears.. It's so tempting just to chop it all off somedays! :p

Yay - convert her, convert her! You should teach an introductory course at uni! That really is cool, how you know people who will at least sit and listen to you talk about this stuff! There's bound to be some other slashers in Sheffield out there somewhere..

Oh and when we were flicking through the posts, she asked me about your icon. *feels famous* Ahh Chip.. if he isn't a great introduction to the fandom, who is? (Aside from ColinGregRyanetc) I'm downloading The Office US episode with him in it right now.. just out of curiousity :p

We should really make a Channel Four documentary about Slash and travel England and other countries to interview people! We could interview fans, people on the street, talk to psychologists and even authors and actors to find out how they feel about it. I read an interview with J K Rowling and she knows all about the slash, so it would be cool to record her opinion on it!
