In my brief absence from the virtual real world known as teh internets, I managed to not only miss the ticket allocation for HIGNFY but also the news of this in the first place! I quickly read part of my alarmingly growing flist, heard from nerdcakes and wallflowered that HIGNFY was back and quite literally shrieked "WHAT?!" Shall be relying on dvds of the episodes ( Read more... )

I'm away to Uni scarily fast.. the irrational screamig my of my brain is mentally running around like a headless chicken crying "I'm not ready!". It's such a change, I've never lived anywhere other that Lancing/Worthing (which are next to each other!) so I can't even comprehend being four hours away in another area of the country! So I'm just going to remain calm and open and go with the flow. (haha, I wonder how long that'll last.. :p} I don't blame you for being reluctant to go elsewhere - you're amazingly lucky to be able to do what you want to do where you are! (Although I say that, I could have gone to Brighton Uni, but honestly I think moving away and being 'in the zone' is the only thing that's going to make me work. Plus it was all crazily spontaneous and last minute. Keele is the best for joint honours though! ... Babble :) ) But yes, you're lucky to get to stay where you are and save on renting; you can go to Uni and not have no worry about other responsibilities, yay!

But none as weird as yours ^_~ Can't say it would put me off my fangirlishness much though... might enhance it actually! HAHAHAHAHA! Dead Brad and Chip?? *worries* You're right, it is lovely to have a scary dream and wake up in your nice warm bed and realise that none of it is real! And to be able to put on Whose Line and say to yourself "Look, there they are, silly!". Lame, huh? :p

I think the police would be so convinced that you were the likeliest suspect that they'd think you were trying to double bluff them! It's no good Colette, you're doomed either way - you may as well go ahead with your evil plans anyway >:)

*erases website history from computer. Just in case*

True, but you have lived away from home before - and that's really brave *nods* I think so anyway... Where abouts is Keele anyway? (Colette shows her complete ignorance ^_^) Four hours away is some train journey... I'd feel so nervous about being where I don't know anyone... it was bad enough when nearly everyone else moved away... I am really lucky to have something like that on my doorstep - but I know that when it comes to getting a job, chances are I'll be offered something that's not here in Sheffield, whether it be five, fifty or five hundred miles away - I know I've got to make the move sometime... Mind you, Hallam Uni was local, and that was bollocks... Aaah, now look who's babbling on? *laughs*

What can I say? I'm a freak ^_~ Actually I read this really beautiful necrophilia story once... there is some very touching literature on the subject *nods* I know I probably shouldn't be sharing this, so I'll swiftly move on! Hehe, I agree with you on the whole waking up in the comfort of your own room though, and realising it isn't true... It's such a relief! I once had this dream that Paul Merton had plastic surgery... and it made his face all non-real and like a siamese cat stuck in a wind tunnel... I was terrified! It took me until that week's HIGNFY just to assure myself that it was just a dream... I mean, can you imagine it? Paul's handsomeness gone...

Double bluff? Yes... they might just believe that *winks*

I guess the best thing about Uni is you're not really - there are so many others your age struggling with being away from home for the first time! Having lived away from home does help, but only with knowing how to work a cooker or a washing machine! My parents helped lots with anything I had a problem with at the flat. Keele Uni is in Staffordshire - by Stoke-on-Trent and not far away from Manchester! There's a Comedy Store there, but no PaulJosieRichardJimetc :\

You are so quotable. Ahaha! But no, without actually having read any necrofic (I made that up. I promise.) I can believe you - I'm sure not everything on the subject is gross and inappropriate and it does have the potential for really emotional and intense writing. Hee, look at me talking about stuff I know nothing about. This is how I practise for a degree in English :p

Oh God, I'm having bizarre visuals of Paul Merton with a siamese cat shaped face! *shudders* That really is unnerving! Almost as unnerving as Paul and Ian sporting beards! Paul's handsomeness will NEVER go, even if we have to track him down and rebuild his face to preserve it! *stockpiles iron-on transfer paper*
