This gesture of niceness was to balance out the crazy drama lady who I went over to help after she called Alice stupid and got cross. She was stressing because one swimsuit had been (wrongly) priced as £16 and the same styled one she wanted was still £20. So I told Alice to give it to her for £16, because it's policy. But she was getting quite irrate! It was completely irrational. She was almost in tears saying she didn't have much time left to shop. So don't shop; leave. She patted me on the back when I sorted it out and my brain went "Don't touch me, bitch." I really must stop hating the customers.
