The Watchmen was an awesome movie. It was definitely one of those movies that the entire piece was greater than the individual greatness of it's parts. It was over the top, half good acting, half bad acting, decent action, great ambience, solid plot. Ha fucking ha. And that's about it.
It's a big fucking joke.

As much as I am concerned with the workings of my particular microcosm, foresight eludes me. Despite recent efforts to stimulate motivation, sheer luck has prevailed, and I feel as though I will slink slowly once more into the comfortable routine of work, going nowhere, drinking, sleeping; repeat.

To all those who feel as though the economy will relapse once more into the same crookedness of the everyday pre-recession; The market is an intangible, behavioral, thought experiment on the premise of the well being of business. Although I don't dabble in it's absurdities, the consequences of it's existence is nonetheless affecting. Much like growing up too fast, unknowingly, bubbles burst. Those at the top of the pyramid scheme we call capitalism had the blanket yanked out from under them.
There's only so much magic you can do to the math before the genie denies you another wish.
It won't be long before we are moving again. People in this country have A.D.D. we need to be doing something, or else chaos ensues. And the government knows well that chaos only serves an educational purpose as opposed to an economic one.
It's been said that "Generation O" wants results. We've been bred that way. Everything is instant, how else must we have our politics? Patience is a virtue easily discarded. Much will be pushed aside for the sake of expedience. The last eight years have taught us that. Let us not allow our affinity for technology's benefits hinder our ability to follow through with good ideas.
Self awareness and the hope of self betterment are the differences between success and failure; between self preservation, and a justifiable punisment for a numbed societal greed.
