Happy Birthday, Ianto!
In case you weren't aware, the Doctor is the greatest friend in the universe and that means he can't go off and miss Jack's not-couplely-significant-other's birthday. Following up his absolutely fantastic gift last year (and only remembering for the same reason), he's left another box by the coffee pot in the Hub.

It's a brilliant piece of machinery with all sorts of awesome technical advances, but a note attached says that if Ianto attempts to take it apart to use the technology inside for other purposes, the Doctor has programmed it to explode.
Also, the Doctor has removed the manual from the box.
Second, the fun gift. Because the Doctor has a great sense of humor.
